The Production Artist will support the Art Directors in the execution of multi-platform campaigns, inclusive of print, web, catalogs, tradeshows/events & retail POP. Must possess technical expertise in setting up production ready files, be able to take creative direction well & translate to appropriate specifications needed. Will be responsible for building assets for campaigns across multiple platforms. Working knowledge of printing processes required for building out mechanicals to be sent to press as well as preparing files for web output.
The position requires advanced knowledge of printing process as it relates to preparing final mechanicals that are press ready. Attention to detail required. Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline driven environment. Will be required to work with project management software program, so prior experience with agency based project management software program is helpful.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe CS4 or higher.
  • Strong InDesign, Photoshop & Illlustrator skills required.
  • Working knowledge of KeyNote preferred.
  • Must have strong time management & organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize & multi-task required within a deadline driven environment.
  • Prior experience in agency based project management software program preferred.
  • Must be a team player with a great attitude.
  • Prior Surf & Skateboarding Industry experience preferred.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating art and imagery for use across various platforms such as print, online, retail and commercial productions from conception to completion. The responsibilities of this position entails the creation of art packages, conceptualizing and building assets for campaigns across multiple platforms, storyboarding and directing photo & video shoots.
